John Ryan
John is married to Debbie and has three children, Holly, Jack, and Alex.
John was apprenticed to Lucas Hydraulics, the original major hydraulics
company in Auckland. John has worked in the hydraulics industry for over
25 years and has followed the progress of hydraulics from an infant
industry to it's current status as an important part in all applications,
in all major industries: Marine, Mobile & Industrial. John was workshop
foreman at HMC Fluid Power Ltd and then progressed to Sales Engineer. Pat Lawson
The Old Man in the partnership who has been there and done that. Pat
served an apprenticeship with the railways as a Blacksmith and
progressed to the construction industry as a diesel mechanic. Five years
at the Bougainville copper mine, a year at the Dartmouth dam project in
Australia, and eight years on a highway and dam project in Fiji ended
when he began working for the Hydraulic Machinery Company. He began
working for the company as a diesel mechanic and progressed to
hydraulics as the companies focus changed. He transferred to HMC Fluid
Power Ltd and worked in hydraulics.
Ian Bush-King Ian began
working with Lucas Plastics as a machine die-setter and progressed to
trouble-shooting problems with plastic moulding machines. His success
with trouble-shooting and repair of moulding machinery was rewarded with
a transfer to the engineering department at Lucas Plastics where he
stayed until the company was broken up and sold.
Paul Breedveld Paul is
married to Donna and they have two children, Jacqueline and Hannah. Paul
initially worked for Hamilton Hydraulics at the premises in Wairau Rd on
the North Shore. He then had a period working for Sperry Vickers at the
old Premises in Marua Rd. Paul is very experienced with hydraulic
installations and complex piping installations with some notable designs
at Nuplex, Ford, Sims Metals and the Cement King.
